Perhaps, this is hell

Nevermind... somehow, on the second attempt, it did boot into the system and let me install the DE. Speaking of which,

1. Plasma with the KDE apps package is MASSIVE,

2. ...and I see exactly WHY it is massive.

Update: I fucked up, it doesn't boot.

Out of curiosity, which distro do you use?

I should move away from Ubuntu. This is getting ridiculous.

Well, this was about as cursed of a revelation as first time hearing about TempleOS.

I learned that rust-lld had a bug where it would not see installed libraries but here, it turned out to be an actual missing dependency.

Also, I like how the readme of lsqlite3 says, "Created for personal needs. Use at your own risk." That's a lovely thing to have in a high-stakes privacy tool.

Re: a guide for what appears to be a robust bypass solution which is unfortunately completely useless for the unfortunate fools who have no way to pay for a VM in the cloud (tried that with Amnezia already)

Side-note: they could not have chosen a more stupid-looking thumbnail.

I am unlikely to abandon Gnome (or Ubuntu for that matter) for everyday use anytime soon but some makeovers people do to their systems make me jealous.

As a side-note, the returnung urge to tinker makes me just a little bit hopeful about the state of my head... watch it collapse anyday now lol.

I am yet to test if the tiling approach to window management is for me or not but as a platform for experimentation, it seems promising. I've already encountered some weird bugs, like the sleep/shutoff menu not working at all, but something tells me it should be fixable.

Note that this is in no way related to my previous post and Will Ramos. Will is cool.
