I am getting harassed by Rust compiler :\
I could use some knowledge of how to use it rn ngl because I have no idea what
rust-lld: error: unable to find library -lsqlite3
means and how to fix it.

Not like I am surprised but was is still interesting to notice that Arch uses only abt 0.5GB of RAM on its own. The 12GB I shoved into my old laptop was not only plenty but frankly completely unnecessary.

The lack of a reliable bypass of traffic filtering is killing me. At this point, trying to route all connections through Tor doesn't seem like an outlandish idea anymore, assuming it is doable at all. Knowing anything about Linux, it should be, but who knows how usable it would be.

Hyprland, first impressions: I am going insane.
I am glad I decided to test it first on a sacrificial laptop because this is the first time I would have been unable to do _anything_ on a machine without a very detailed guide, despite having read quite a lot on setting the thing up.

If I had a nickel for every time one of my favorite deathcore vocalists with nasty low extreme vocals got cancelled for sexual assault, I'd have two nickels. Which is certainly not good but somehow, also not surprising in a slightest.

1. The idea to turn a family reunion into a deathcore song is crazy
2. I am happy to see people use extreme metal to express very normal personal human feelings because _it_works_

YouTube is a fucking dumpster fire, and I sincerely hope there is anything at all in the world that is capable of making it collapse
I despise how hard YouTube actively fucks over its users and creators at every turn.
Be sure to check your devices (Yes, plural DEVICE(S), because they’ve made it per device not just account), and make sure this setting is OFF!
It’s potentially hiding thousands of videos from you.

Finally got around fighting the Unmatched Power of the Sun and lowkey liked it more than P-1.
I know I am the exact kind of player that is not, like, entertainingly bad, and nowhere near good enough to be worth watching, but whatever.

We got seasonal events, mods, a crackhead tryhard community of speedrunners, memes, custom maps, tinfoil lore theories, homages in music and other games, eeekhhh fanart... cameos, bonus levels, and a full-on visual remaster before the game itself.
I was casually cybergrinding and got jumpscared by a bunnygirl mindflayer. This prompted me to go through the enemy list and pick the ones that look the best with the ears.

Thinking again on Lain's interesting take on foreshadowing.
This word is often associated with teasing some big subversion of expectations later in a story; this approach runs the risk of feeling contrived, as if to surprise the viewer was the author's entire goal.

In a way, this reminds me of the initial impression from Ergo Proxy. However, the reason why it has episodes of seemingly far worse writing quality than the rest of the series, in the end comes down to the fact that the show is deeply self-referential with a significant degree of irony to it.
I have no clue what to make of this. What started as a cyberpunk story and continued as a messy and poorly written high fantasy quest, ended as a long sequence of surreal images with little, if any, narrative between them. Several pages-long fragments of the last volume don't have

Curious about the new episode of The Coffin of Andy and Leyley but also don't want to found out that it, somewhat expectedly, has devolved into nothing but incest fetish content.

Makes me appreciate Berserk even more for teasing the culmination of the story in the prologue and then steadily building towards it. Although, it does expectedly get a lot less structured past the Eclipse and its direct aftermath, almost as if it was intended to be the finale.
It is starting to feel mildly nonsensical, as if the story was not planned ahead past a certain point. Entire races are being introduced with little to no context only to disappear in the very next chapter. The first two volumes felt more cohesive.
