I’m usually pretty good at falling back to sleep when my cat meows at 3am to feed him. But, before I drifted back off to sleep, my eyes were forced open with a shot of adrenaline as the reminder of the current shit show pierced my conscience.

Do you remember, 5 years ago, when the air of uncertainty crept in as we faced a global pandemic? We’re there, again, except this time the virus that will take hold is ignorant loyalty to a man who has been bought and paid for by Christofascism that will forever destroy our democracy.

Just in case you young people don't know why we don't joke about Nazis. That includes Nazi salutes.
Towards the end, Nazis would not "waste" a bullet on a baby and threw them in with the naked dead bodies in the ditch while a baby was still alive and crying.
