Wikipedia says Sinclair died in 1951, so my cynical guess here is that the copyright on the original expired and someone wanted to put out a version that they could claim a new copyright on.

Perhaps, but I suspect the discount department store part was also pretty useful.

I haven't lived in Rupert since that location held a Zellers, though, so I could certainly be wrong. I suppose Amazon has probably taken over a lot of the more affordable clothing & home goods market.

Theory: the one on the left uses contrast to draw the eye to the specific tombstone near the centre of the bottom edge, and that makes the salute more impactful by making it clearer what he's saluting.

I want to say it's easier than it used to be, but although that's mostly true, I did fix an audio issue by creating a text config file using instructions from a forum post just this past week.
