I can think of no reason why Photoshop Lasso is malfunctioning, other than the fact that I only have a few minutes to get this done.

What corner of the Internet algorithm have I found myself in, where the release of the final volume of Land of the Lustrous isn't a MASSIVE DEAL?

I'm not even in love with the series and I still see it as a significant milestone.

Hm... Does "modicum" always have to be followed by "of?"

Perhaps @merriam-webster.com would know??

WELL look who finally woke up! Perhaps you're a moth after all, friend

Hm... I think we have a butterfly in the house. Which is insane because it's Fall and literally there were no butterflies Outside all year, but this lil dude is not only butterfly-shaped, but is displaying clear not-moth behavior

The one question people ask that let's me know for sure that they've never made a graphic novel before: "How many pages is it?"

Between all the editing rounds, until it hits the press, the answer is: *Flop sweat*

The correct phrasing is: " About how long is it?"

This can be readily appraised.

I'd say absolutely not, but just today I called a big car wreck a "nasty dust up," and I can't think of a better name for the big outgoing mail boxes than "post box" to differentiate it from a regular mailbox... so really what do I know.
Here’s a primer on ‘primer.’

It’s pronounced ‘PRIMM-er’ if you mean “a small book” or “a short informative piece of writing.”

It’s pronounced ‘PRY-mer’ if you mean “an initial coat of paint.”

Well I've been spelling This wrong my whole life, whoops.
lede = introductory section in journalism

bury the lede = hiding the most relevant pieces of a story within other distracting information

Allegedly, it’s spelled ‘lede’ to avoid confusion with ‘lead,’ which was the strip of metal that would separate lines of type.

JANUS IN TARTARUS - A nerdy tale about self-acceptance amid a pit of insidious mushroom creatures.

The burden of an old god’s power isn’t a pleasant gift. Thankfully Marjam, has just taken on Janus' powers with no trouble at all... At least that's the lie she's been telling.

My laptop has AI file search. It's the worst. It brings up things that are technically related to the search word, but not it. If I wanted general thoughts, I would've used a web browser.

I don't think there's a way to turn it off.

And now we get City: The Animation: The Musical.

What a beautiful start to the week.
Okay, City the manga was pretty good, but I didn't feel the need to buy them all and finish the series.

City the Animation? Phenomenal. Every shot feels like each animator was given the chance to experiment. The humor isn't as crazy as Nichijou, but more like a "laughing at reality" feel.

Now I remember why I rolled back my Illustrator to an older version. I thought it was my computer but nope. It just crashes.

Constantly.

To literally anyone who doesn't have a primary care doctor: Book one now. I know you're not sick yet. I know your insurance might not have kicked in yet.

But it's gonna be like a six month wait, so sort the details out later 😔
To the guy who stands outside my house coughing every night:

Please see a doctor. You're not getting better.
