Not living in London I don't often get to go to things but I'm so glad we went to that. Had a lovely afternoon mooching around the South Bank too. It was always my favourite place as a kid when my actress mum brought me to foyer performances at the National in the 70s and early 80s.

They're also absolutely inclusive and really lovely too. But I will be sore tomorrow!

Well deserved. It was a brilliant film. I keep recommending it to people.

I've missed most of the beginning of my PGCE so I'm on catch up but I'm being incredibly well supported. The biggest problem seems to be that I've spent months rehearsing everything in my head which of course, isn't reality. I just want to do everything but luckily there is an order to do things.

I could never understand why I couldn't focus and thought a splitting headache was a normal part of homework. Not to mention juggling peroetually moulting notebooks. I'll never stop loving a nice notebook but for when I'm out and about this is a game changer.

I'm still learning how best to study. It was always a struggle when I was in school but now I know that the ADHD was behind it I can do things to help. Listening to papers read aloud while following and taking notes has been a game changer.

I'll use these classes for my first assignment, hence the lead teaching. I'm looking forward to going back to basics afterwards though!

The kids were brilliant. I was teaching persuasive writing with figurative language to a year 10 group and they went with me. As I said, there's a lot I'd do differently but considering I ended up doing my first class as lead teaching (though I'd observed this class before) I'm so relieved.
