Happy mid winter everyone. I will not be sorry to see the back of 2024 but now enjoying a little oasis of calm. I hated Christmas for many years but eventually came to see it as a necessary beacon in the dark months. It will always be a complicated season but I hope you have a peaceful one. c

I've managed to avoid Covid up to now, as far as I know. I'm fully vaccinated. 9 days after testing positive I still feel awful. Still getting a positive test in under a minute too. How long does this thing last?

New project. I've needed a noticeboard for above my desk for ages but could never find the right one. Then we found this 60s Boots frame for a couple of quid in a charity shop. The fabric is a vintage sari. I love it!

I'm now looking for stability and enough to live comfortably. In the meantime I'm filling the new place with flowers.
