Hi LA County friends, just got a heads up through the wires and don't have a place to write it up so I'll put it here instead - the city of Rosemead is providing free N95s and KN95s to the public which can be picked up at the Rosemead Chamber of Commerce on Muscatel Ave between 12-4pm today...

I very much agree with this statement. In this world of excess, maybe take some time to check your local library out. Want to bring back the “good old days”? Then embrace some of the things that were great before the Information Age. Incorporate them as we adapt to a new era. Just a thought 🤷♂️
I have always loved public libraries, but having young children has exponentially increased my gratitude and sense of indebtedness to them. Our local library is such a huge part of our lives. The books, the programming, the very intentionally curated kids’ section. It’s all such a gift.

Anyone else have moments of existential forlorn-ness? It pains me to think of how every generation has worked hard to make it better for the last, and the chain is likely broken. 😞 climate change is already here, and we are shoving our heads in the sand 😔
