Last week I sang and helped record a short operetta with talented friends. Today, I helped someone prepare for a musical callback audition. Grateful for little rewarding experiences. ❤️🎶

Attended a new monthly music series in Seatttle. This month featured a 1+ hour course in vocal versatility by Gemma Balinbin, Engagement Manager at the 5th Ave Theatre. It was a kickoff to my upcoming weekend in Victoria, BC at my 1st regional National Association of Teachers of Singing conference.

I’m excited to have registered for the National Association of Teachers of Singing 2026 Winter Workshop, January 3-5 at the Manhattan School of Music in NYC. I’ll also attend the National Musical Theatre Competition Finals.

It has worked for me for decades. 🤓

At TTRPG game night last night I asked the GM some questions that created some unexpected solutions to a problem that looked dark. I uncovered a secret, made a new powerful ally, sent out a call to rally others. I’m feeling pretty good about myself. 😂

Now that Starfinder Second Edition is launching, one could play a Brigadoon inspired ttrpg one-shot about a miraculously blessed village that appears out of the mists every one hundred years for only a day. It’s a sci-fi/fantasy mashup in the making.

I’m ready to sing some musical theater songs and hymns for the Pride Service today: Love Who You Love from A Man of No Importance and You’ll Never Walk Alone from Carousel.

I’m only a few minutes into the movie and I can already see Paizo is so well positioned to create KPop Demon Hunter RPG characters. Well done, former colleagues, well done.
