My test for whether a reform proposal is even worth time considering is, "Will this work responding to a domestic violence call in any city that's not NYC?"

Those are the high-complexity calls that break things, and are high-volume and high-risk enough for any breakage to be a blocker.

Then we're going to say that totally real money is vital to national security, and not having it is a natsec emergency that justifies the executive invalidating Article 3 powers so he can invalidate Article 1 powers.

He just told us what's going to happen.

Even way back when, the Customs guy on the POETT team in Iraq was way more kitted out than us Marines. Dude had like twenty plus mags on at all times. Was kind of a joke.

Like, wild thing is the admin doesn't even need to RIF ppl now bc they've already claimed ability to do recisions AND to unilaterally rewrite union contracts, and neither of those are being hampered with this agreement.

They could just say, "you're working for free now take it or leave it."

Constituent, I just called yours and senator Smith's office and encouraged you to not compromise on anything short of an enforceable prohibition against executive recisions. This is about whether my kids will grow up in a constitutional Republic and strong Art. 1 powers are needed for that.

I know this isn't the moment in history you wanted to be in your role for. Nobody would. We're Minnesota Nice. But we're also the land of the First Minnesota and we do what we gotta do. Please stay strong.
