Ok, that's the setup.
We're all going to pretend those commitments were real. Not money that was already going to be spent anyway. Not circular financing. Uzbekistan was really going to spend 8% of their GDP for a decade investing in the US.

The Fabulous Cowboy Boner Ads are still on Trump's profile.
If anything they've made him *more* glittery since the ads first appeared.

Trump's messaging reads a lot like, "Things are only going to get worse electorally, it's takeover now, or never."
That reading is bolstered by the fact that he's only speaking to insiders in all of these. Not even attempting to speak to the American People.

Appropriations feels predictable, they feel no obligation to anything.
More interesting is stuff like, if there's an air traffic controller shortage in like Keokuk or something, does he pull from NYC first?

The Servant Song also helps me.
Also remembering that the Good Samaritan parable was Jesus's answer to, "Ok, I'm supposed to love my neighbor as myself. Agreed. But who IS my neighbor? Surely not all THOSE people?"

And um, I think that's a Saab Gripen? I'm guessing that's not the only non-US stock visual in there, too.

A focus on nutrition assistance started in the US because in WWII so many men were too weakened by malnutrition to serve in the military.

Major federal school lunch laws were passed in 1946 and '49.
