@democrats.senate.gov why didn't you do an old talking filibuster aka Wendy Davis in TX? That would have been so great to have Sen speak, tag in/out, like, then walk out to Mall and have an outdoor fili. You could elevate others and have Dem Sen in/out of Senate/Mall. This should just be normal.

My political instincts are more progressive. However I have a strong libertarian streak. Its the criminal defense attorney in me. We should expect our criminal justice system to create a fair process, applied all the time to everyone. We should never tolerate a process that allows this to happen.
Looking back now on Trump's complaints, it appears less that he was upset than that he was jealous.
