The White House is 55,000 sq. ft. The new addition is 90,000 sq. ft. Not only is it a disgrace that the entire East Wing is being taken down, but what's going in its place is a monstrocity.

A Bush appointee, an Obama appointee, and a Trump appointee ... walk into a courtroom and throw down the gauntlet vs. an outlaw administration and its Supreme Court. Bravo. #SCOTUS

They were supposed to save $2 trillion. People were supposed to go to jail for wasting government resources on fraud and abuse. Weird that they haven't been able to find those people and hold them accountable, despite full access to all gov't databases, right?

Absolutely

100%. I keep this handy. It's so true.

You need to work on your persuasion skills (or lack of them, as it were).

No, I think you get it. Just based on your questions and that Gemini chat thread.

What might be confusing is the original post's INFERENCE that they're manipulating the data. That is NOT proven by the two graphs. All the graphs show is: 1) Less "real" data and 2) More simulated data.

I saw this GIF recently and it's so true. I'm constantly amazed by how many people vote against their own self interest because they believe at some point they'll be billionaires.

In 1996 some eager entrepreneur left a card underneath the wiper of my car when it was parked on the street in Queens, urging me to call and take advantage of a once-in-a-lifetime chance to make millions selling a new product called webtv. My roommate and I then used that card to clean our weed.

Yup. At 3:30am, three PSE&G trucks showed up. Turns out our transformer was bad and earlier they had linked us with one down the street. Replaced the transformer, all good. Finally was able to turn the fridge & AC back on. One of my neighbors had an appliance repair truck at their house today. 😔 RIP

The Democratic Party is going to try to downplay the stunning Mamdani victory as an outlier in one of America's bluest cities. They do so at their own peril. Affordable housing for all, universal childcare for preschoolers, food security, healthcare as a right are messages that can win nationally.

Same. The cheap shit worked fine. All my high-CRI bulbs aren't working at all. I hope it's just they can't get the juice right now. I'm keeping off as much as I can until the voltage comes back. Crazy.

Long Island. Can't run fridge or AC (or rather, won't). Some LED's in the house don't even turn on.

I'm old enough to remember that era when they just smeared Vasoline on a filter and called it a day.

Repost with a favorite Classic Who villian or monster that isn't The Master, The Daleks, or The Cybermen.

24 years after leaving CMJ, I finally made it into Rolling Stone! 😆 The show was excellent, as is the band's new album! Get the double vinyl if you can find it - the extra vinyl-only tracks are well worth searching out. #IndieMusic #SunflowerBean

Yes, I stand corrected. I was thinking of the surplus I generate - it's April through June when I have the biggest surplus. But my generation is, indeed, highest in June, July, August.
