Oh well.
Can't risk losing access to a complete authoritarian lunatic, amirite?

I'm really digging this.
November 18, 2025 at 6:36 AM
I was surprised.
November 12, 2025 at 3:30 AM
Nope. We can't be expected to follow every bit of criming associated with this administration. It's too much for any human mind. I missed it too.

The argument is - GOP knows now they're going to lose, so they'll just burn it all down. They're relying on Trump's voter suppression down the road now. They had zero incentive to cave, and Dems were sick of seeing people suffer w/no SNAP. That's the argument. Not sure it's legit, but there it is.
November 10, 2025 at 4:16 AM
Yeah, there's way way too much confidence in these comments.
November 8, 2025 at 1:28 AM
Right, but all the GOP out here in Nassau and Suffolk counties will likely vote for her. It's going to be up to NYC to come out for Hochul. Hopefully the Mamdani endorsement helped, but the Hochul/Mamdani connection will have to show results for New Yorkers over the next 12 months.
November 8, 2025 at 1:22 AM
What's so fitting is that if she had just stayed a "normal" Republican, she actually might have had a better chance against Hochul. But she sold her soul.

Everything Trump touches dies.

I feel a little better after Tuesday, but I wish I shared your confidence.

Her voting record is 100% with Trump. That's not something she can erase. I just hope Democrats get the message out.
November 8, 2025 at 1:18 AM
I wish I had your confidence. Democrats on day one need to tie her 100% voting alignment record with Trump to her like a lead weight. I'd love to see her and Blakeman get in a long, protracted, ultra-damaging primary.

OMG. Totally.

When I first saw the new pics, my FIRST thought was - you spent all that money for a marble overhaul and yet put in a standard contractor's toilet?

In a more compassionate society, I might be persuaded to consider the entire scope of something like this.

In our for-profit United States?

No way in hell. It's an internment camp. Within a year, perhaps less, we'll be hearing reports of torture and death.

The problem, apparently, is that actual "facts have a well-known liberal bias."

MAGA can't handle the truth.
October 27, 2025 at 10:43 PM
At this point, no corporate-owned media can be trusted. The billionaires are swallowing up all the legacy media. So much for the "liberal bias."

I hope the slow motion changes the minds of some coastal residents who claimed they were not going to evacuate. Maybe it's the only blessing here - that they might have time to see the storm surge coming and get to safety, if there is any to be found. 🙏
October 27, 2025 at 3:48 PM
"Maybe the USS Ford should be prepared for relief work instead of extrajudicial killings."

100%. I fear there's going to be little left of the island after this. The news is interviewing people in coastal areas in what look like makeshift homes, claiming they're staying put. Horrifying.
October 27, 2025 at 3:46 PM
I've seen so many videos of Jamaicans "preparing" for this storm. How do you even begin to prepare for something like this? There is no preparation. There is only survival. 🙏 I hope the shelters stay safe and secure and that people use them. It's frightening how many claim they're staying put.

With the money Big Pharma spends on new drugs, you'd think they'd invent something that could knock us out for a few years.
