Hi all, I'm an artist. I'm inspired by my Egyptology, archaeology and early Medieval studies along with Cult British Sci-fi (Classic Dr Who, Gallifrey and Blake's 7) & a good dose of Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes. I'm currently working on a botanical series based on flora in my garden and environs👋
Not sure where or when the book will be available, but there's a nice review on Ahram for it.

My #Egyptology friends here may recognise this fabulous small limestone ostracon, from Campbell Price's social media accounts.

The artwork depicts a funeral, and it's the subject of my next Artefacts in Focus article, dropping tomorrow morning at tetisheri.substack.com

50 years ago I was a kid scribbling KISS motifs & cartoons on everything and anything. The band & its music have stayed with me, so the news that Ace Frehley (my favourite member of KISS), has left us for another stage will take some getting used to.

This year I made a Christmas Collection on Redbubble with new pieces to go with some older designs & paintings. Of course they have a Celtic/La tène/Welsh twist. I hope you like them!

A travertine/calcite alabaster goblet with an image of King Tutankhamun and Queen Ankhenesamun from the antechamber in KV 62. It features the God, Heh. The image is only visible when a taper or light is used to illuminate the goblet. GEM 28.

Friday afternoon oil painting practice - the UI is still buggy, but I got the Reference Image element to work in Rebelle 8 (lost everything else in the process though, & hard crashed the app - thank goodness for the inbuilt saves and recovery files 😅).
