Tottenham's purpose isn't to win everything at all costs. It's to be entertaining and to dare. Tottenham is boring and timid. I do not care for it.

it’s just such a strange coaching exercise, like he’s in the business of figuring out how many different ways you can have extremely ineffective performances

Dare? Do? Nah.
0.07 & 0.1 - Tottenham Hotspur are responsible for the two lowest xG totals in a Premier League game this season, against Arsenal (0.07) and Chelsea (0.1). Concern.

Tottenham did not dare.

You could say this is just what Thomas Frank has to do against top teams, except this is how Spurs look most games. Unwatchable, uninspired garbage.

Boy Thomas Frank is really making Spurs smoke the whole pack after catching them complaining about being too open under Ange huh.

Spurs’ problem is they can’t just fire Frank because they just promoted the two guys who hired him and built this terrible squad. The solution was cleaning house and instead they decided to double down on this disaster just one month ago.

the hope Kudus cooks attacking strategy is pretty tough to do without Kudus

I know the new hotness in soccer analytics is physical metrics not performance records but I think Tottenham would be better if they had attacking players who were good at scoring or assisting goals

Bale and Kane and Sonny carried this team for so long and hid most of the problems and now Tottenham is just extremely mediocre without them.

The complete list of clubs to break the Premier League's "Big Four" without oil money: Tottenham Hotspur.

That's it. Levy did what nobody else could do. You can complain about a lot of choices he made (I have), but all that money he made the club made them winners far beyond any peer.

That was quite the combination of a deeply flawed squad, a manager who pretending his players weren't deficient, and those players playing exceptionally poorly. A miracle they almost nicked a point.

I’ve never loved an athlete like I love Son. A wonder to watch who was an even more wonderful person and he was the one who truly loved the badge, sticking it out til he went out as a champion.

There’s only one Son Heung-min. There will only ever be one Son Heung-min.
