I get asked a lot during talks at universities how to integrate LLMs into the classroom "ethically". And the more I think about it, the more I'm affirmed the answer is "don't".

This piece by @sonjadrimmer.bsky.social and Christopher Nygren on AI provides some excellent arguments as to why.

This could be exactly what we need to prevent property owners from keeping their buildings/lots vacant and in disrepair.

Land Value Tax would also take the tax burden off of individual homeowners in most of the city.

This would have a huge positive impact on our cities!

Congressional Democrats are wired to think “compromise” because it’s what their base has wanted for many years, under Dem and GOP presidents, including Trump 1.0.

But now under Trump 2.0, Dems say hold the line by a margin of +33.

A massive shift in the base’s attitude.
New @nbcnews.com poll

April 2017: 59% of Democrats want to compromise with Trump, 33% say hold the line

March 2025: 65% of Democrats say to hold the line against Trump, 32% want to compromise

Can’t emphasize this enough: if you’re feeling overwhelmed by the debased assault on our country, the antidote is connecting with other people in the flesh who are feeling the same way. There are millions of us.

The future has arrived
It's been an exceptional week for renewable generation in Ireland and wind in particular which has been supplying >50% of the island's electricity needs since Saturday evening 🤯

Wind exceeded 100% of demand early this morning for the second day in a row - an unprecedented back-to-back occurrence 👏
