Today is a tough day, for all of us.
I saw this coming and tried to prepare myself, but it still hurts. It feels like something I’ve devoted years of my life to has suddenly lost its meaning. Like many fans, I grew up with this contest, and in many ways, it shaped who I am.

It’s really sad. I expected this outcome, but a part of me still had hope. Hearing talk of a possible vote on participation, and then finding out the EBU didn’t allow it, is so disappointing. Maybe the result wouldn’t have changed, but at least there would have been a separate vote.

Today is the day. I really hope something good happens for the future of the contest, but honestly I’m not expecting it. It makes me sad that a contest created to support peace in Europe after World War II is not really standing for peace and humanity now.

There’s a meeting next week, then the stage design will be revealed, and it looks like the allocation draw will follow a month later. What I’m really wondering is whether they’ll announce anything about this year’s #Eurovision theme/artwork.

Switching the venue only weeks before the show is extremely unprofessional. The host broadcaster is obviously responsible, but the EBU is too. If the roof couldn’t support the technical setup, why was it approved in the first place? It really feels like they don’t care much about Junior Eurovision.
🇬🇪 The Junior #Eurovision 2025 page on the official website now lists the Gymnastic Hall of Olympic City as the venue for the contest, replacing the originally planned Tbilisi Olympic Palace.

Design-wise, the new Eurovision website is a big improvement. But the transition feels rushed and amateur. There are a lot of errors and missing info. They should’ve done a proper internal review before launching it publicly.

I wonder if it's risky for a brand like Eurovision to work with a one-person agency and 20+ freelancers? Don't get me wrong, big agencies aren't guaranteed success either. But imagine Eurovision rebranded by Pentagram, one of the world's top design agencies.
This actually shows that for a rebranding, smaller agencies can be given a chance instead of working with large agencies. I find this positive in this respect. I hope one day Eurovision will give me this chance too.

It seems more details have been announced for the new #Eurovision logo. We already knew that the company that prepared the logo and the branding was responsible for the 2023 strategy.

This year marks the 70th #Eurovision Song Contest. Here’s my concept video, inspired by the classic Eurovision logo and the Vienna Secession art movement: youtu.be/y9chrygMw8o?...
On the Eurovision website it says that permission is required to use the new logo. I actually sent an email today asking for permission, but they replied that only partners can use it. So it looks like I won’t be able to use the new logo on my channel.
Green also issues a warning (to creators I guess) that the brand can only be used by the EBU and anybody they grant a licence too.

Honestly, the thing that excites me the most about the new logo is the “Chameleon Hearts”. I think we’ll get to see different versions of the heart depending on the host country. It kind of reminds me of Melodifestivalen 2021! #Eurovision

Honestly, I was expecting this. The previous logo was changed on the 60th anniversary, and since this year marks the 70th, I was waiting for an update. But after recent events and Martin Österdahl’s resignation, I thought the idea had been shelved.
🚨 BREAKING: According to Lithuanian head of delegation Audrius Giržadas, a new #Eurovision logo will be announced at 13:00 CEST today.
In an interview on "Labas rytas, Lietuva" this morning, he said organisers are thinking about "how to bring [the contest] back more to music."
