I just hate claiming its in the fight in the first place, their entire "this is war" framing is fucking awful, they're using the way we've allowed our limits on war powers to atrophy to now pry open the door to across the board violations

while making some tea i remembered a substitute Physics teacher we had at school for a bit who'd end every lesson with a general "do you have any questions?" segment and one person asked why when you forget to boil a kettle you can tell by the sound because hot and cold water sound different

I believe a plausible outcome to all this may be similar to the Goldwater intervention re: Nixon, many years ago. If Trump damages this country so bad, that republican MOC see that there may be a real bloodbath inn’26, I could see the tipping point being reached where certain members would go to
