I said this to my friend last night and I think it's a good thing to think about:
If no one else, make art for your younger self. Make art of your ocs that your younger self would have dreamed to be able to draw. Make art that would make them keyboard smash an excited reply to. Make art for you.

I’ve been thinking about this today after spending almost 2 hours trying to draw a single pose sketch of a character… being able to tolerate the frustration and push through when it becomes hard (and it almost always does) is the main trait that you can develop to improve your art

while dealing with one of the more jarring of moving debacle, fires didn't help, caught up on K6BD and doodled this. Inspiring and indulgent comic, the characters, its worlds, its themes. The comic is made by an incandescent heart.
