Play if f$%&ing important, and the disrespect played at people taking time for it is a big reason our communities struggle.

A big piece of advice for the incoming folks getting used to Bluesky:
Likes don't do anything really. I mean, they give a little shot of serotonin. If you want to actually spread something, sharing is the way to do that.
So share others and reshare your own stuff. There's zero reason not to.

Ended up not having Blades in the Dark last night, 2 out of 4 players unwell, and honestly, I was pretty mentally and emotionally beat up too.
On the upside, I took my darling's advice and wrote without time pressure (rare for me) and ended up working on my 1 shot for about 4 hours.

Sooo how long is the right amount of time for an actual play? I see everything from 1hr eps through to 4 hour recordings of a live stream? And does it depend on where you are posting?

That moment when you had an idea, went to write it down so you didn't forget cos it's bed time, then realise you got hyperfocused and spent an hour and a half writing a new small ttrpg game. 😆 surprisingly got it basically done too. I just hope it's legible when I read it in the morning lol
