The End Child Poverty coalition, which we are part of, has published its annual report on child poverty figures at a local level.

In two-thirds of constituencies, at least 1 in 4 kids are living in poverty.

Pleased to see this from the Commissioner - and once again angry that the ASN review led by Angela Morgan published years ago is on a shelf somewhere, despite the level of input from children, families and staff. We need to do better for our children. We must.

Holding up public services on the back of our sector was never it. From the first eNIC announcement we've been calling for full exemption; nothing else will reach the whole sector. To date, the Chancellor says our sector gets enough support. Let's hope for a change of heart.
