Community. Belonging. Connection.
All my views, when I get round to it.

Last meeting of 2024 was with #DigitalDairyChain. The connection? 60% of our sector is based in our rural communities with links to farming, land mmnt, environment and our rural economy. We talked digital, skills, housing and connectivity. Plus, we thrive on relationships. Lots to explore in 2025.

At this week's Integration Joint Board, I reminded colleagues of the scale and potential of our #EssentialSector across Dumfries and Galloway; the trusted relationships that exist and impacts seen every day. We must start with our communities and invest in what's already working, what's strong.

Thanks to @povertyalliance.org team for hosting time for reflection on the @scottishgovernment.bsky.social budget today. A definite positive is the movement of people across various sectors committed to see change. Always re-charging to hear the passion and energy, despite the huge task ahead.
