They're good for experimenting and a single cheap $5/month VPS can usually host several websites for you without a problem

it's tiring when people hear my game's in unity and they say "you should use godot"
yeah I'd love to if their engine would work for my needs
their webgl isn't in a good spot and has no c# support (the WIP implementation also inflates the build size a lot)
memory issues on iOS and crashing, etc.
