Added a privacy policy and a TOS disclaimer to the Tailraise website, including a tl;dr at the top of them cause who actually reads these lol

I don't collect your data or track you in any way and I rotate logs constantly to keep your data out of my system as much as I can on purpose.

We don't store personal details, don't run analytics, and don't use tracking cookies. The Patreon login is used only to verify supporter status and nothing is saved.

A reminder that anyone asking you out of the blue to "try my game" and sends you a .rar/.zip or an Itch link most likely is a compromised account trying to steal yours.

Do not trust them.

Some accounts from people in this community and in other similar communities have been hijacked by malicious folk and are currently going around asking people to "try out my project" or "try out my game" and asking for feedback or saying it's for a grade for school, etc.. Usually this is an itch.io link and they ask you to play test it. Sometimes this is a .rar or .zip file with a password. :warning: These are UNSAFE :warning: If you download and run the program, it will grab all of your current logged in sessions and hijack your accounts, bypassing passwords and 2-factor auth because they are using your current logged in session to bypass logging in. Even if your friend is a game developer, I would not recommend trusting any requests like this out of the blue. Even if they have a proper Itch page for it, it's usually **stolen from a real game to pretend to be real**. **Also, keep in mind if they have stolen the Discord account, and you attempt to verify it's them on another platform like bsky, it's likely that account is ALSO compromised and it's likely not them. ** If you get a link on Itch.io from them, usually these are games that are under 180 days old (I notice usually under 60, rarely higher). Instead of downloading them, instead, use Google's Reverse Image Search to check if the game images show up elsewhere from the Itch page. You can report these at the bottom and I recommend reporting it to inform Itch this is a token stealer and link them to the original game.

built myself a little tool to test save files or load saves quickly in editor to debug

also the save file conversion script works flawlessly, just need to map the old data to the new quest system so no one loses progress

also some other save file tweaks for future stuff
A custom Unity GUI window that I built to quickly debug a save file and test variations of it quickly while in editor instead of having to manually modify them

the quest tracker is working!

this now automatically pulls and fills out based on your current quest progress and provides a hint on whatever you have to do next automatically (no hint if you've completed the quest of course)

It's looking real nice and works great :3

Working on a new quest format for Tailraise that will hopefully make it easier to put together new quests and make it so I don't have to write anything extra in the quest log, it'll just pull from here and summarize, etc.
Unity UI showing a new quest system structure using stage names, descriptions, summary text for each stage, next hint (for finding the next thing to do), and so on, as well as optional objectives with each stage.
