Yes, it is entirely correct to point out that ICE officers do not have any legal authority to break into somebody’s home unless they get a judicial warrant; which they generally cannot do, because judges only issue warrants for probable cause of crimes, not immigration law violations.

Honoring The Life Of Ian Epstein, Flight Attendant Who Died in American Airlines 5342 Crash
When deaths occur on a mass scale, there is a tendency to focus on numbers rather than people. But every life has a story and today I want to focus on Ian Epstein, one of the flight attendants who perished in the crash of American Airlines Flight 5342…

Initial thoughts.

1. 3 crew members means reduced visibility on one side of the aircraft.

2. based on coms they either lost sight of the CRJ or were looking at the wrong aircraft when they said they saw it.

3. Tower behaved normally.

Notice the missing mentioning of Tim Cook??!!
Who knew the President of the USA position was for sale for a mere $277 Million. Unfortunately you do get what you pay for, a 🤡.

So now Bezos, Musk, & Zuck are going to fcuk the everyday American & strip them off their health care and other services paid for by our taxes for their gain. #FAFO
Elon Musk spent $277 million on the election. Now he’s basically running the country and cashing in to benefit his companies, get a massive tax break, and make you pay for it by cutting your health care benefits.

Let that sink in for a minute!

Whenever disaster strikes, Trump and his heartless maga cult immediately use it to attack their political opponents. They make up wild conspiracy theories, and lie about recovery efforts. They politicize the victims, and try to distract from the fact they'll do nothing to help them.

One of the only (or most) reasonable take on immigration.
Every time I ask someone what immigration policy actually accomplishes, including the immigration attorneys I know, there’s always a lot of handwringing to cover up that the answer is “racism, mostly.” And yet “then maybe we should get rid of it?” is treated as an unthinkably extreme solution

As she sums it up, “disagree without being a jerk, calmly explain your reasons for disagreeing, and reassure people they won’t be left out or behind.”

Her Substack article is excellent; we can adopt it, and, contra Steve Bannon, “Flood the zone with reason.” 2/2

If you want to understand why healthcare pricing is horrific, the first thing to know is that our system puts 100% of the credit risk for deductibles, copays and co-insurance on hospitals and doctors. That's insane.
