Mixed emotions given the direction of our country right now, but I still love the USA and believe that we can get moving back towards a more perfect union! Happy Independence Day! (Mt. Vernon)

Given the discourse here today, really recommend this deeply reported and complex piece about birth rates.

Not the outcome that we PSU fans wanted, but had a blast at PSU's first ever Frozen Four appearance! I can see why it is well-attended, even by fans without a dog in the fight - a great event! Looking forward to PSU's next trip. Go State! #MFrozenFour

Stopped by the Soldiers Memorial in St. Louis. Very nice memorial and museum with some great artifacts and displays. Well worth a visit if you're in the city!

15 years ago the Supreme Court decided corporations are people under the First Amendment.

Today, billionaire political spending is up 160-fold since that ruling.

We must overturn Citizens United.

Every day, it corrupts our politics and erodes our democracy.

I dunno if he's on here and I'm a Pennsy guy, but good for the Senator from the Great State of New Jersey! He deserved recognition during today's protest.

Matt DiMarsico scores at 17:56 of OT to send Penn State to its first Frozen Four. Arsenii Sergeev made 42 saves against his former team, including 28 in the 3rd period and OT. Penn State was 40th in the Pairwise in January and got in the NCAAs as the last at-large team.

Trump is butchering Ukrainians.
Not for us.
For Russia.

Of all the terrible things that this new administration has done in their first few weeks, the worst in my mind is selling out Ukraine to Russia. I'm sure that things here in the U.S. will continue to worsen, but we did this to ourselves (this from a Harris voter who also canvassed for Harris/Walz).
