A Trump supporter started murdering his way through an assassination list of Democratic law makers FIVE MONTHS AGO. He murdered my colleague Melissa Hortman, and her husband Mark — and attempted to assassinate my dear friend John Hoffman and his wife Yvette. I was also on the hit list. WTF

🚨 Yet again Ted Cruz and Steve Scalise are trying to sneak in a moratorium on state GenAi legislation.

If passed states can no longer enact laws for transparency, child safety, privacy, environmental protection etc.

We got 3 days to stop this. Call now!

Hey Seattle friends, take a minute to click this link & make sure your vote got counted! The mayoral election is gonna be CLOSE, like possibly a-few-dozen-votes close
This race could very easily be decided by challenged ballots. Use this link to track your ballot, and remind your friends and family to do the same: info.kingcounty.gov/kcelections/...

People don't talk about it, but part of that cottage core garden lifestyle is using your lunch break to go pick up several gallons of manure and driving it back with the windows down, releasing the stink, with the wind in your hair

The reason why there are no republican major cities is because when you live close to everyone you realize everyone is a human being and we all support each other to make this place work. Your office job has a bodega or coffee shop at the bottom. You see each other on transit. It creates compassion.

Seattle and WA more broadly, VOTE TODAY.

even though they say today is the last recommended day to mail it, I propose you take it to a ballot box if you can. Lower the USPS processing burden!
Today is the final day the USPS recommends mailing your ballot in.

MAGA attacks on the postal service mean that if you mail it after today, it may not be counted.

If you can’t mail today, turn it in at your nearest ballot drop box, locations can be found here: www.sos.wa.gov/elections/vo...

All cars should have speed governors in them and speed limits should be much lower.

No public road should be built that is farther than a half mile walk to public transit with minimum 20 minute headways

Single-family only zoning should not exist
Do you have any extremely niche, but serious, ethical stances?

Keep. Fucking. QUIET about attending a protest. DO NOT sign up for it. Leave your phone OFF, buy things with CASH if you need to, use PUBLIC TRANSIT. BE SMART ABOUT THIS. The last thing you want is the government hunting you down because you got caught.
Since the No Kings stuff is coming up again, reminder that you 100% should not *sign up* for a protest. You can just show up.

Hey guys, don't go to national parks during government shutdowns. This isn't your chance to score a deal getting into the horribly underfunded parks for free. It's hugely damaging to the parks when the staff aren't there to maintain them

If you're in the U.S. and haven't gotten the 2025-2026 COVID vaccine yet, experts are recommending you schedule it NOW before Friday.

If you live in a Republican-controlled state, I STRONGLY recommend you get it before Friday if you can, before the ACIP restricts access.
