I'm all about my hobbies: video games, comics, manga, TV shows, etc..
And I like to get my thoughts out about them, so here I am. I also really like writing fiction.
I'm currently in the "Choosing My Peace" arc of my life.
One of these days, hopefully, we'll get our Ben Affleck Dafedevil to Charlie Cox Daredevil glowup for the Hulk.

Hopefully.

And I don't blame Mark Ruffalo. He does what he can with what he's given.

As usual, the blame lies with the writers and executive producers who create and approve, respectively, stories that either downplay, meme, or flatout ignores the Hulk's character and story.

The blatant character assassination of the Hulk and his stories is one of the main reasons why I wasn't a fan of the She-Hulk show-- which sucks because she's one of my favorite comic book characters. I was a kid in the early 2000s when I read her Sensational series, and it was awesome.

"Lol Hulk is boring."
His series was one of the highest-selling and most prolific comic runs at Marvel both before & after their financial troubles.
His whole thing is that he's an abuse survivor who struggles with identity disorder, depression, and suicidal ideation among other things.

Don't just disagree for the sake of disagreeing. Changing the venue and circumstances for his attempting to run away doesn't change the fact that he has the exact same response to adversity, and the same resolution in both movies.

Take the bot response elsewhere.

Immediately wrong yourself.
In TFA, Finn goes through the process of realizing that he can't just run away from the war; he needs to stand and fight for the people who count on him, and for his newfound ideals.
In TLJ, Finn tries to run, then realizes he can't just run away, etc etc..

I have a lot of issues with the Disney-rebooted Star Wars franchise and the company as a whole (many of them rooted in humanitarian and anti-large-homogenous-corporations-owning-everything views), but one of the biggest is just that it was a shortsighted and uninspired decision altogether.

As for Tran, I sincerely hate how a character with such great potential was mishandled so haphazardly. Her whole arc w/ Finn is to tell the CHILD SOLDIER that war is bad.
C'mon, now, Rian. You know that's dumb.
I can think of 3 different narrative purposes she could've served in a better capacity.

Not much to say about Rey and Ben, tbh. I think that Ridley and Driver did their best w/ what they were given.
But re: Luke. His *whole gripe* with Ben and Yoda is that they gave up and became hermits rather than actively fight the Empire. So he just... does the same thing?
