Reposting this reply to a comment thread just because not an hour ago, I ran across this mention of Jane Addams from my 6-y-o's first grade research report. And here Jane Addams turns up again in a thread I stumbled upon.

In the Bay Area, Teslas are the official car. They used to represent success, progressive change, and environmental responsibility. But now they represent greedy, selfish exploitation at the expense of humanity. This payday for Musk seals my opinion that those who buy them now agree.

I picked up this book at a recycle bookstore last year. It can't be understated the impact these four women had on the NPR we know today. In an era when MSM rejected women, public broadcasting--and we-- benefited from their talent.

This propaganda ad touting #UAE investment in US AI interests popped up in my fidget game tonight. Interesting timing with the hostage release in Israel and god knows what "deals" are going on with the Trump administration, the Trump family businesses, and the tech oligarchs.

An oath is a solemn promise made, often invoking god as witness. Trump has no honor and didn't put his hand on the Bible when sworn in. That's not required by law, but it's a demonstration of good faith. It was his way of saying F the constitution, i do what I want.

Very cool! I'm a big spider fan. Gotta share my katydid friend who came to visit the other night. We checked each other out for some time.

Made a little edit. And check out the guy in the back left. That sums it up.

Here's another look; seems like a phone? In the frames leading up to the grab, he seems to be wearing a balaclava. But in frames where he's speeding away, it looks like he has a beard.

We should absolutely be burning flags with trump's likeness on them, because they are themselves a desecration of the flag.

Look at little cheeks! Take her with you everywhere, you can't lose! Your post reminded me of one of my fave children's books, Blueberries for Sal. Ella might like it! Godspeed on your mission for the senate! Rooting for you here from the opposite coast.

Is it just me, or is trump now the color of a burnt pumpkin pie?

It's terrifying there at night. (not.)

The Atlantic showing some bias for 90s has-beens in New York politics. This didn't age well. Accompanied by this piece with the devil lighting. I think #mamdani struck a chord.
