Just heard Rachel Reeves have a pop at @zackpolanski.bsky.social thereby signifying that she is really quite alarmed by the rise in @greenparty.org.uk

And do she should be!

Not so long ago Reeves was crying in the same Chamber. It seems she can dish it out but can’t take it!

Earlier this week I had this debate about wealth taxes, austerity and spending.

The Labour MP attacks me repeatedly - Labour Government have taken to doing the same thing.

Interesting people can absolutely see through it & aren't going to be distracted.

That’s a bit of a stretch, isn’t it?! A year ago, Labour were suspending MP’s for supporting this exact same policy. Reeves and Starmer have been cornered into this reverse ferret by, let’s face it: Zack Polanski and other left-economic online personalities…

In this podcast, I talk with John Christensen, co-founder of the Tax Justice Network, about whether Britain can escape the final stage of a decades-long inflationary cycle without social and political rupture.

Rachel Reeves’ 2025 Budget has already collapsed under the weight of its own contradictions. In this video, I explain why tax rises on ordinary people, baseless growth forecasts, and a refusal to tax wealth fairly mean this Budget will fail. youtu.be/xvdFsOT6WPk?...

The 50 wealthiest families own more wealth than the bottom 50% of the population.

How can this Labour Government say this is a "cost of living" budget and refuse to tax the rich?

They care about protecting power and wealth. And cost of living is a buzz phrase for them. Dire.

A few weeks ago I wrote to the Chancellor asking her to intervene as O2'd hiked its price hike; increasing prices by more than it told people when they signed up – a mockery of Ofcom's rules & hugely inflationary.

Today she sent me her letters to Ofcom & industry about it...

BREAKING. Chancellor Rachel Reeves has said she is “asking everyone to make a contribution” by freezing tax thresholds.

The Chancellor acknowledged the move would break previous Labour promises because it “is a decision that will affect working people”

Good to hear Rachel Reeves finally attack the 2 child benefit cap - but if Labour were so much against it, why’s it taken them so long to scrap it? And why were Labour MPs suspended for saying *exactly* the same last year? There’s no moral high ground here #budget2025
