Finished! 81,200 words, 21 chapters, one trip to Dallas and another to Leamington Spa. It will be out in Spring and, if you were wondering, the font on this title page is called Oswald.
My partner has recreated the Oswald backyard photo but it looks more like that Black Sabbath album cover

62 years ago today, a man left a building on this site at midday. He walked south on to Main Street, and headed through the crowds to Dealey Plaza. It was a clear, warm day, yet in his hand he carried an umbrella. That act inspired my next book.

This was such a great show last night and, as always with Dallas, can we just take a moment to admire the awning

Hanging out at Mary Moorman’s. On her wall is her famous photo of the assassination - the only one to show the grassy knoll at the time of the shooting. She’s 93 now and sharp as a tack.

I haven’t seen this get covered in English yet so let me translate.

Grok is saying that the crematories at Auschwitz’s were conceived as disinfectant chambers, not mass execution and that the law has made it taboo to acknowledge that this is what they were

My friend Scott from Glasgow. We watched the last 20 minutes of the game on my phone as we arrived in Dallas and, though he doesn’t look it, he was so happy. Always nice to share those moments with people.

Listening to great BBC podcast Anatomy of a Cancellation, about the Kate Clanchy story. The book's terminology is certainly gasp-inducing, but christ alive the main takeaway for me was how obnoxious and awful Twitter was as a forum for righteous public execution and we're far better off without it.
