Dutton confirms beyond doubt that the last person speaking is setting Coalition policy on important issues.
A gov't led by Dutton was always going to be a shit show, but talk about policy on the run!
Dutton: we'll split un insurance companies!
Taylor: we won't split up insurance companies!

Dutton: We'll hold a referendum to deport people
Cash: We're not going to hold a referendum to deport people

Clown car stuff.

We need to break the toxic nexus between gambling and sport.

Absolutely agree, and it's high time Australia stepped up and moved our allegiance away from America as they can no longer be trusted as a reliable partner in anything.
President Trump siding with the aggressor instead of helping defend Ukraine & the int’l rules-based order is deeply troubling.

Treatment of President Zelensky was disgraceful & very hard to watch.

Rest of the world stepping up is the right thing to do 🇺🇦

Having lived through most of the Cold War l have to say I’m utterly stunned the USA has effectively sided with Russia - Eisenhower, JFK and Adlai Stevenson must be turning in their graves - Trump is a traitor to his people, pure and simple.

Here's an idea for tax reform:

1. stop subsidising gas and coal mining
2. start making them pay their fair share of tax

You can help by adding your name to our petition to increase the PRRT: theaus.in/increasePRRT #auspol
✍️ SIGN: Demand the gas industry pays its fair share. Fix the PRRT!
The government collects more money from HECS than it does from the PRRT. Australians are missing out on important revenue for public services while gas companies make record profits. We need to inc...

And you can guarantee that when the Gov't & the Opposition are in furious agreement on rushing it through (even if not fully agreed on every word) there is a win for both sides, at the expense of the taxpayer yet again.
And "screwing" of minors and independents is a bonus for them both.
Disgusting!
If a Government is trying to rush a bill through Parliament, then odds are something fishy is going on.

Labor's electoral donation reforms lock out independent & smaller parties, denying voters the ability to choose outside the major parties. A healthy & robust democracy champions choice, it doesn't stamp it out. We need an inquiry now. #auspol

I absolutely agree, it is clear that Auntie is having a clean out of some on air people, and yet Macca, who is beyond dreary, lazy & totally self-absorbed, gets to crap on every Sunday morning.
There must be more appropriate people to present an entertaining show each week, and win back listeners.
I’ve signed the petition to keep Sarah Macdonald at ABC Sydney. Getting rid of her while they keep people like Macca is beyond me.

This is absolutely dreadful.
Whenever the Coalition and Labor gang up together to rush something through, you can absolutely guarantee there is something in for both, and that any scrutiny would show it as a shonky deal for many, except themselves!
POV: the ENTIRE senate crossbench voting for parliamentary scrutiny of 400 pages of electoral reform that doesn't commence until 2028

Major parties teaming up to oppose & hide from scrutiny their desperate attempt to maintain the duopoly.
