Yeah, it bears no resemblance. To anything else at all really! Although the final episode does have a faintly Twin Peaks Black Lodge feel.

Literally the only bad thing about this glorious DVD is that it says, on the back, something along the lines of "for fans of Little Britain" which immediately gives you the wrong impression.

Btw, you mentioned wishing there was more of Jodie's era & about Big Finish, & I was just wondering if you've ever read the Titan Comics series written by Jodie Houser? She captures the 13th Dr's voice (and everyone else) so well. It's like a couple of extra seasons!
