My word of the day is Declinism. It js defined as the belief that a society or institution is tending towards decline. It’s about the bias in viewing the present in a neg light vs a romanticized past. It’s a perspective that’s always been around, but it’s never been as bad as it is today!

Do you like science-centric documentaries like Cosmos (Carl Sagan or Neil Tyson) ? If you’ve never checked out James Burke’s Connections series, I highly recommend it! There’s been about 4 seasons, going back to the 70s all the way to the most recent from the 2020s. Most of them are on YT now .
