Round and round and round we go, where Trump will stop—he doesn't know!

conservative evangelicals spent a quarter century explicitly tying their religious identity to the most extreme and jingoistic forms of american nationalism up to and including embracing one of the worst degenerates this country has ever produced and they refuse to take responsibility for it
He Gave a Name to What Many Christians Feel
And the feeling isn’t good. Aaron Renn has gained a following by warning that the U.S. is currently a “negative world” for Christianity.

Conservatives rage that Democrats didn’t stand for the cancer-stricken child Trump exploited—but they ignore his cuts to cancer research. Pure performative outrage.

Republicans in Congress are reportedly asking Musk’s permission to hold votes

At tonight’s State of the Union, Trump will have one goal: to distract.

His policies are wreaking havoc on the economy and upending American lives, and he will lie, blame, and distract to avoid any bit of responsibility. Don’t fall for it.

I would think the GOP would LOVE town halls, given their amazing success with the economy, the stable international situation, and how beloved Elon Musk is by the American people.

Dear maga,

The global right, who used to admire Trump, has absolutely turned on him and now is openly saying he works for Russia.

The right in Canada has dropped in the polls and now openly distances themselves from you. Same with Germany and UK

You suck

What the actual 🤬
Without Congressional action, the World Trade Center Health Program will begin denying care for 9/11 survivors & first responders.

Unacceptable.

I joined NY colleagues in introducing a bill to secure permanent funding for WTCHP, so those impacted get the help they deserve.

After the most disastrous first month of any President in history, Trump will do everything he can to distract you tonight. He will try to convince you that culture war issues are important. None of these things lower gas prices, improve job numbers, or put food on the table. Don't take the bait.

Coming out of a bit of a news break whilst in L.A. and this is quite the hard re-entry: the president of Ukraine being lectured like a child by the U.S. president and vice president who want to steal his natural resources and hand chunks of his country to Putin. I have never been so embarrassed.
Omg. This is a thread. Every one should be appalled. 1/5

Okay... we feel like we say this every week but *a lot* of stuff happened. Let's break it down, starting with @brbarrett.bsky.social on why the DOGE takeover is worse than you think... (sorry, but you gotta read this one.)
The DOGE Takeover Is Worse Than You Think
What’s happening to the US government right now is bad. What comes next is worse.
