As a millennial fan of all three, I always thought it was Bruce who didn’t get his due in coolness compared to the other two here. But then, “coolness” isn’t part of the Springsteen appeal the way it is with the other two in the popular imagination.

It works the same as getting a spot you want at a music festival. If there's a band you really want to be close for, you get to the stage for the act before.
