I need y'all to stop treating independent creators like Amazon. We're trying our best here, but we're just simply not going to have the same level of convenience or webstore capabilities as giant stores. We're doing what we can on our own with the few tools we can afford.

It's always been the case that "buying" an ebook from amazon was only actually a loan they could rescind at any point, but lately Amazon have gone harder on this, and it is 100% so that they can wipe banned books from your libraries without your consent.

At this point I’m just tired of hearing what we should do (i.e. tax the rich) without hearing anything about how to get there. We all know there are a million good things that we don’t have the power to make happen. The focus needs to be on building power and capacity right now.
