I love that I can use Bluesky for exactly the same purpose I used Twitter for: Getting a constant stream of excellent fantasy art put in front of me every day. I have issues with visualizing certain things, particularly people, so It's legitimately inspiring to see people's imaginations at work.

I'm trying to be more obvious that I take art / illustration commissions here. This has been a big swing from last year. September was awful for me, so many 👻's

I'm burned out at both ends with being online, but I still need to eat.

TTRPG creators aren't compensated enough for their work as it is, let alone when contracts are cancelled after the work is already done.

Now that I've posted something cool and wholesome that I managed to make with meager photoshop skills, allow me to demonstrate what I typically use them for: Crimes.

I made this from WotC's official Vecna art + an illustration of Handsome Squidward by AmarthGul (DeviantArt). Don't ask me why.

Made a collage of most of my commissioned characters to try and use as a profile header, didn't quite work like I wanted, but a thinner version worked *ok* - figured I'd post the full thing here. The art is by a mix of @johnlattaart.bsky.social, Lumin & Kakakatana (twitter), and DnDIcons (patreon)

First impressions of this platform: Missing the tip jar feature on Post (seems good for tipping artists posting art, and I didn't mind using it to pay for news), but at least a lot of the people I followed on twitter are actually here. Also it's not twitter, so 10/10.
