I'd suggest you recreate your account as soon as it will let you pick up your old handle (usually 1 month) to avoid anyone impersonating you on the platform. You may need to log in every now and then to avoid having it deleted automatically, but just set it up as a calendar event on a ~3month timer.

That's really shocking to me, you're such a good artist and your prices are quite reasonable.

I killed my account a while back, but I've now reached the point where I'm actively judging anyone that still engages with it. I get it for people who make their livelihood on social media, but at a certain point you have to take a stand if you value basic decency.

One of my characters lives in a bag of holding after I realized that the Air Bubble spell, cast once a day, will let you breath in one indefinitely. I've decorated the inside and use it like a portable bedroom. :P

The worst is getting angry with someone in a dream and then not being able to shake it IRL. You know it's completely illogical but dreams can trick your brain into thinking they are more meaningful than they actually are, so it can be hard to shake.

I kid you not, every D&D game I've played in since it came out has AT LEAST mentioned BG3, if not talked about it for ~30m before or after the game... And I play 5 days a week.

From an artist PoV getting paid, and getting paid what your time is worth has to be a big deal. Things like requiring 50% up front and delivering low res / watermarked versions for final approval and payment help prevent payment issues. Scope creep is an issue, so setting expectations is critical.

Not an artist but I commission a lot of art. The things I look for are a commission sheet with a clear breakdown of costs, how payment will be handled, and what I can expect to get (ie, a sketch + 1-2 rounds of revisions, preview of coloring, then the final product) and what will incur extra costs.

This post is poetry.

The artists I've worked with have been great about letting me get alternate versions of things for use in projects like this. I like making tokens and other nifty things with the art I commission and they've all been really great about giving me the tools I need to do that. Here's another example:
