Good lord. I really shouldn't be surprised since it's the Upper East Side, but this Facebook group sounds completely unhinged. These folks actually do not want to be living in a multi-cultural, diverse urban area. Why are they even here?

Robin Reiter runs a PT office on East 65th Street. Do you think she knows Hoboken has a Sikh mayor?

But to Stephen's point, it's extremely geographically ignorant. Sending the G to Forest Hills does absolutely nothing to address the problem IBX is trying to solve.

I want to say it’s getting better since the last time I did this a few weeks ago, but no it’s not. Here’s the subway map.

You can’t just point to Brooklyn and call it all Park Slope.

The Times parsed the vote using similar categories and again found that the single most determinative factor economic-like factor in the election was "commute by transit" vs "commute by car." It edged out renters vs. homeowners. There's still outstanding data but I expect these trends will hold.

It's a pretty good piece, particularly by the standards of Brietbart/Manhattan Institute, but he's talking to no one here. Modern GOP conservativism is incompatible with life in a polyglot city.

Trump threatened congestion pricing again, while lying about how empty NYC is. It’s decidedly not empty despite Trump’s own anti-international tourism agenda. He totally doesn’t remember threatening congestion pricing once before or the pending lawsuit over its fate.

The Governor of Texas does not want more Republicans moving to his state.

This is a real thing he said on X.

Amazing how he just keeps campaigning with the worst people in NYC politics and seemingly gets a pass for it.

30 percent of Sliwa voters claim they’re definitely moving. It both defies belief et but also ✌🏻

Somehow there is another Andrew Fine involved. Not the Upper East Side guy and not Good @andrewdfine.bsky.social.

Here's the updated list of 10 busiest days since the pandemic. 6 of them in the last 15 days, and we're getting awfully close to that week when lockdowns descended on us.

Duffy's incessant whining about public transportation is negatively polarizing me away from even the whole "we could be even better" line of thinking.

There are well over 4 million subway riders every day, and last week there were 39 total major felonies in the subway. Get a grip.

A lot of handwaving away that fact from Mark Scotto here.

The attorney is Hartley Bernstein. His name is on the public filings that were filed before The Brooklyn Eagle printed this story. What sort of nonsense is this?
