UCLA sports, NBA, and immigration shit.
New POV video shows what appears to be the decedent’s gun being taken by an officer well before the first shot is fired. The self-defense argument is non-existent.

The simple question is, “was this a proper use of force?” (Emphasis on “proper”). LEOs are held to a standard of accountability when using force—only that which is minimally required to safely control a situation. Was shooing this guy the least amount of force required to control the situation?

Not really seeing any self-defense justification in these videos when the guy is completely surrounded by officers and is facing the ground on his knees.

* it’s not hard to imagine someone shooting an ICE officer out of self-defense. An armed intruder entering your home wearing a facemask and not identifying themselves? This is a recipe for disaster. If I’m an ICE agent, I’m extremely leery about entering someone’s residence.

* immigrants change addresses. These addresses are frequently outdated/incorrect in ICE’s database (at the fault of ICE and immigrants). Based on what you’ve seen thus far, how much due diligence do you think ICE is doing to verify accuracy of information? It’s not hard to imagine how this ends.
