The statements DHS is making/has made in regard to the shooting deaths isn’t even spin, it’s just straight up lying to the American public. The videos objectively speak for themselves. DHS statements can’t be taken seriously. The department has zero credibility.

Both are sickening, and It’s not a competition, but Alex Pretti’s death is (somehow) even less justifiable than that of Renee Good.

If I’m viewing the latest shooting death in the light most favorable to ICE/CBP officers, it’s that they see the guy’s gun, panic, then shoot him.
Nothing I saw/heard shows the decedent threatening the officers, reaching for his gun, or acting aggressively towards the officers.
