Is this what 'tearing our country apart' actually means?
These openly prejudiced nimby protesters won't let themselves be ignored.
Yet for every one of them there is another UK voter who disagrees with their aims.
Another rock & a hard place for govt.
Is there a solution to suit all?

Even if they did that, after a few weeks who'd tune in? And we'd probably only get to see selective soundbites via the media anyway.

I think most UK journos are actually paid as part of their remit to find any iota of criticism or personal mistake they can use to defame this govt.
Critics today on about shirts & bow ties giving a poor impression..seems they've forgotten this:

unlike most of the others this govt makes.
Of course, this is only because it relates to the budget, the media's next golden opportunity to disparage this govt.

I think people also skirt round the fact that the modern media doesn't report on most of the stuff this govt is actually achieving. Hence the govt will need to do twice as much to get the message across.
