That is what our system described upthread does. No chemicals but it needs a place to drain. First pic shows the iron stain only 10 days after old system died. After installation, the water is again clear.

Just had a new softener and iron-reduction system installed yesterday to replace the old one that died. We have a LOT of iron in our water here and this system works.

Find shedded #snake skins frequently, like this one. Never thought about this before.
Snake skin on a dark wooden counter. It’s only about 5” in total length because the shedded skin balled up on itself as it was being shed. Skin is from a relatively long but thin snake so probably non-venomous. Likely a black, garter or rat snake. Estimated length 20-24 inches. Could be from a coral snake, which is venomous but rare for this area.

In other words, the online culture has destroyed the ability to spontaneously meet strangers. As such, I thought I would share a few words that I used in my youth to meet someone that I found compelling. I would ask: "May I meet you?" before engaging further in a conversation. I almost never got a No. It inevitably enabled the opportunity for a further conversation. I met a lot of really interesting people this way. I think the combination of proper grammar and politeness was the key to its effectiveness. You might give it a try. And yes, I think it should also work for women seeking men as well as same sex interactions. julie k. brown & @jkbjournalist As for why Biden and the Democrats didn't release the criminal case files -- Maxwell's criminal case was still OPEN during the Biden administration. She wasn't convicted until late 2021, and then she appealed her conviction. Generally, it's not a good idea to open your evidence files when a criminal case is ongoing. We also don't know whether the FBI was *still* investigating other possible suspects who helped Epstein or participated in his crimes. The final plea PAPERWORK was manipulated to pick just one victim -- and his lawyers made sure they chose the oldest one so that it didn't look so bad. But the girl who came forward first to police was 14 -- and the list of other victims attached to that deal included many young girls.
