Palestinians stood in solidarity with Black Americans in the aftermath of Mike Brown. They also painted a mural of George Floyd in the West Bank and rallied for him.

It also really bothers me cause Palestinians have been raising the Venezuela issue and I think even protested in the aftermath of George Floyd and other police brutality in the us. Meanwhile people here are like “why bring them up?”

My hours at work have been cut to 8 hours per week, roughly $730/mo before taxes. I am actively applying for work elsewhere with no luck - retail, custodial, wearhouse packing and shipping, grocery. I am also autistic and looking for career assistance, I am on a waitlist about a year+ long. I have not been able to pay my share of rent ($1000/mo) for a while. I cover utilities (roughly $100-150 every other month), medicine ($95/mo), groceries and pet food ($150-200/wk), phone ($25/mo), and personal debts ($300/mo plus $153/mo to the IRS, usually $715/mo but have not been paying 2 debts since May 2025). I'm doing my best living as cheaply as possible, eating when I absolutely need to and skipping medication doses to stretch my prescriptions, and planning ahead. Commissions are open again as well as general work availability. This idea came to me late. I think it fits really well since Portland Frog Brigade literally carries no weapons and yet ICE has no idea how to respond to them. Just feckless incompetent goons all around.
