88% of Republicans approve of Trump's job performance right now. It's just that everyone else hates Trump. We need Republicans to turn on Trump for something dramatic to happen.

I think they are uncomfortable with admitting that they really like Trump's authoritarianism. A lot of Trump's support came from first time voters. My sister was one of them. She didn't care about inflation, but still won't give me a real reason why she voted for him.
