Has Third Way showed its work? I'm just luxuriating in the faculty lounge here with my Meerschaum pipe and an elderly brandy, but if this related to nutrition, airframe design, or nuclear strategy, you and I would expect the claims to be backed by copious evidence (ie actual candidate statements).

I'm pretty sure I dined in one when I was in grad school, out east. I just think it's funny that the above restaurant claimed that title out here.

I wanted to visit a Cracker Barrel to see what all the fuss is about. This was the only Bay Area location, according to Google Maps (it has since closed).

Fantastic resource for historians: a spreadsheet of NARA's digitized microfilm, with links to the files in the Archives catalog. May it help you as much as it has helped me.

The tone in this letter is absolutely astounding. I'm surprised Gerber didn't throw in a drink order.
i have said before that the fracas at UVA is a product, in large part, of a set of alumni who believe that the university was at its greatest when it was a segregated finishing school for white men. i was not exaggerating, as you can see here in this letter from Scott Douglas Gerber
GERBER: A letter of suggestions for U.Va.’s interim president
What follows are a few respectfully proffered suggestions that I think can help you try to restore the University to the greatness it enjoyed when I was a student decades ago.
