Progress report on the 5th Battalion, 191st Death Korps Assault Korps. Tanks almost finished; artillery about half done; 7 out of 10 platoons complete. Here are about 15,000 pts, 550 infantry, 30 tanks, and 15 guns. The Imperial Guard stands ready to defend the Imperium!

Put in a loooong paint session today and got the metallics down on the rest. I also painted their candles. Phew! Now the beards, skin, gloves, and fire effect on the candles remain #hobbystreak day 395

Starting metallics. The back of the chainmail shirts took the longest because I'm trying not to get any silver on the belt or the crossed straps to make painting the leather easier later on #hobbystreak day 394

Diggy diggy hole! My next project will be dwarf miners ⛏️⚒️. Unfortunately I somehow missed like 40% of the models when I primed them with grey seer so today I went over each model with 2 thin layers on all the spots I missed #hobbystreak day 390

There we are - 10 ironbreakers and 10 irondrakes done. Snow / ice bases to come later. These models were loads of fun to paint, so much armour but I tried to get some colour variety in there #hobbystreak day 389
