@seancasten.bsky.social I am so absolutely impressed with Mr. Casten who asks simple straight forward questions and plays no games. He knows what he is talking about and it is clear this regime has people in positions of power who have no grasp of the basics of the areas under their authority.

Re-upping this in light of the discussion with Secretary Bessent today. The oil companies have all been put on alert that they are financially exposed if the WH is selling them oil without clean title. Bessent said nothing today to assuage that risk.
Any oil company that invests in the production, refining or distribution of Venezuelan oil is exposing their shareholders to significant long term credit liability. We raised that point in a letter to the oil majors today, but want to dive into why: casten.house.gov/media/press-...

Sitting U.S. senators don't make letters such as this one public unless they feel a paper trail is needed to inform the public.

Not great. Really not great.

Thank you to everyone in CA including the elected officials and voters who successfully accomplished mid-decade redistricting to swiftly counter the attempted theft by Texas.

Action and tangible results are so much better than gripes and strongly worded letters.

This should be enough for the world to get behind eliminating super wealth. Tax it out of existence.
This email between Epstein and JD Vance’s tech oligarch benefactor Peter Thiel where they plan to “collapse” society to create investment opportunities for themselves seems… not great

Watching Rachel Maddow last night really gave me hope. Every day Americans are stopping ice from opening
detention centers in their communities. And the good people in Vancouver stopped the sale of a building to ice.

We have the power. Keep using it. LFG!

While Texas canceled its project, California keeps building. 463 miles are now ready for construction.
